When We Are Closed

NHS 111 is the Out of Hours service and will answer your call when the surgery is closed. They will take details of the problem and provide telephone advice if appropriate.  If you need to be seen, NHS 111 will arrange an appointment at a local hospital or visit you at home.  Please telephone 111 to contact NHS 111 when the surgery is closed.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

NHS 111 is free to call from landlines and most mobiles but pay as you go mobiles need to have at least 1p credit to call.

If you require help in a LIFE THREATENING EMERGENCY please call 999

Do not misuse the Out of Hours or Ambulance Service for routine or trivial matters.

NHS 111 Online

NHS 111 online is a fast and convenient alternative to the 111 phone service and provides an option for people who want to access 111 digitally.
