Welcome to Atlantic Medical Group

Atlantic Medical Group was formed in April 2021 following the merger of the Alverton Practice and Cape Cornwall Surgery.  Atlantic Medical Group will continue to deliver high quality health care services at St Clare Medical Centre in Penzance, Cape Cornwall Surgery in St Just and at the Newlyn Surgery.  Patients will have the choice to see a clinician at the any of these sites.

We are conscious that some patients registered with Atlantic Medical Group may be affected by current events in Afghanistan.  Atlantic Medical Group is accredited by the Royal College of General Practitioners as one which specialises in the care of military veterans and their families. The team are aware of the care needs of military veterans and their families. If recent events have affected you and you wish to seek help, please come forward.

Information when attending the practice

Despite the upcoming changes in Covid restrictions we still require anyone visiting the practice to wear a mask, use hand saniitiser and observe the 2m rule.

Covid rates in our area are still very high.

This is for the benefit of the whole practice population - we can only deliver health care services if we have staff to do so.  By the very nature of what we do we often have very vulnerable people in the building and as a community we feel it is our duty to protect them as best we can.

As a practice we would like to say a big thank you to our patients for adhering to these requests over the last two years as we have had a very high percentage of patients complying with no issues what so ever.

As soon as we feel we can we will relax these rules but hope you understand the need to continue in the surgery for now.

Stay safe.
